Data methodology
TrustCheck summarises public US government filing records about employers. Our calculators apply published government rules to the numbers you enter. Neither predicts an approval, and missing data never proves an employer is not a sponsor.

TrustCheck data sources
| Source | What it shows |
|---|---|
| USCIS — H-1B Employer Data Hub | Public employer filing records released by the agency |
| US DOL — Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data | Public employer filing records released by the agency |
Records are matched to employers by name and identifiers. Name variations, mergers and subsidiaries can cause missed or merged matches. Data range and last refresh date are shown on each TrustCheck result.
Limitations
- Government data is released with a delay and can be revised.
- "No record found" means no match in the released data — not that the employer has never sponsored. See what "no record found" means.
- Filing history is not a promise that an employer will sponsor you.
Calculators
Each calculator runs on a rules table where every rule has an official source link and a verified date. A calculator whose rules aren't yet verified is marked as such and kept out of search engines until it is.
